A TikFinity alternative
when all you need is TTS
TikFinity is a popular all-in-one toolkit for TikTok LIVE, with alerts, overlays, widgets and text-to-speech. surstreaming does one of those things: it reads your chat aloud, and it is built to do that privately, inside your browser.
Where they differ
- Scope: TikFinity covers alerts, overlays, widgets and TTS. surstreaming only turns chat into speech in your headphones.
- Where the voice is made: surstreaming generates speech on your own device with an open model (Supertonic 3), so chat text is not sent to a cloud speech service. Optional Fish Audio voices are the exception, and run on your own Fish Audio account.
- Setup: surstreaming runs in a browser tab. Log in with TikTok and press play, with nothing to install.
- Platforms: surstreaming reads TikTok LIVE chat, and Twitch and Kick chat with the Starter plan.
- Price: surstreaming is free for 3 hours a week, then 1,99 € per month. For TikFinity's current plans, check its own site.
When TikFinity is the better choice
If you want on-screen alerts, overlays, goal bars or viewer games, use TikFinity. surstreaming does none of that, and doesn't try to.
When surstreaming is the better choice
- You want your chat in your ears, not on your screen
- You don't want your chat text sent to a cloud speech service
- You want a different voice per viewer, so you know who is talking without looking
- You also stream on Twitch or Kick and want one tool for all three chats
- You want to try it without installing anything
Can I use both?
Yes. surstreaming only listens to your LIVE and plays audio in its own browser tab, so it runs fine next to TikFinity's overlays. If both read chat aloud you will hear every message twice, so switch TTS off in one of them.
